About The Last Caretaker Tools

The Last Caretaker Tools is an independent, fan-built companion site created by and for players of The Last Caretaker, a survival-management game in which you cultivate and guide the growth of human characters. The game's growth system is deep and interlocking — memories, food, attributes, diminishing returns, and profession requirements all interact — and planning an efficient path through it can be difficult to do by hand. This site exists to make that planning easier.

We offer two core tools, both completely free to use and requiring no account to get started:

• The Human Growth Calculator lets you enter the memories and food you have available, then determines which human types (professions) you can grow from that inventory. It accounts for each profession's attribute requirements, the diminishing returns on stacked resources, and item weight, so the results reflect what is actually possible in-game.
• The Interactive Map lets you explore the game world, mark locations, track which ones you have visited or looted, add personal notes, and color-code points of interest so you can keep a clear record of your exploration.

Who we are

We are a small group of community players who built these tools to solve our own planning problems and decided to share them. This is a hobby project. We are notaffiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the developers of The Last Caretaker, Channel 37, or the game's publishers. All game content, trademarks, and intellectual property shown or referenced here belong to their respective owners. This site is a fan resource only.

Our goals

• Keep the tools fast, clean, and usable on both desktop and mobile.
• Stay accurate to the game's real mechanics as they evolve.
• Respect your data — you can use the calculator anonymously, and your inventory is saved locally in your browser by default.
• Remain free to use, supported by advertising that does not interfere with the tools.

Optional accounts

You can use every tool without logging in. If you choose to create an account, your inventory and growth history are saved to your profile so you can access them from any device.
